When designing particulate control systems, IR Process also focuses on containment design—not just collection—as part of our process engineering approach. We minimize the opportunities for dust to escape the systems. We routinely design systems utilizing modified low-velocity designs as outlined in the Dust Control Handbook for Industrial Minerals Mining and Processing published by the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH). These design parameters are especially important when handling abrasive dusts to minimize wear created from high velocity conveying.
